Hydrolux joined District 3
News from Hydrolux

‘Tis the season of exams… and good news!

It’s time for the final exams of the current university semester, never an easy time for student-entrepreneurs. That said, despite this study crunch, it seems that things are accelerating more and more at Hydrolux.

Indeed, we have good news! We have just been accepted into the District 3 Accelerator. It is an intensive program that aims to finalize the implementation of our business plan and the concretization of our partnerships currently being negotiated so we can start our operations as soon as possible. We are very proud of the work we have done recently, and it is gratifying to see a well-known institution taking note of it. We can’t wait to get started. Thanks to D3 for believing in us!

Also, while being on the subject of student-entrepreneurs, let’s talk about our meetings with FrontRow Ventures. It is a venture capital organization, run by students to invest in student businesses. We spent several hours with them in the last couple of weeks to talk to them about our business. This is obviously a possible funding opportunity, but most importantly we had a lot of feedback on the business model. We have tremendous respect for the work done by these students with interests that aren’t taught in classrooms. Passionate people, just like us.

Speaking of partnerships, we have made a lot of progress recently in terms of negotiating with various suppliers for the equipment needed for our operation. In this regard, we will soon be meeting one of the greatest researchers in the field of hydrogen in Montreal. We want to validate some hypotheses, and to be advised on some decisions regarding the options that will be offered to us in the near future.

As always, if you have any suggestions for us, or if you are interested in the project, do not hesitate to send us an email!

To all students, study well! And to the rest of you, have a good rest of the week and enjoy your weekend!
